Out of Pocket Expenses (Reimbursements)

For out of pocket expenses incurred during your recent reservation, we are glad to be of service and reimburse expenses pre-approved by a Zipcar agent (give us a call at 866-4ZIPCAR first).

Submit a Reimbursement Request

Valid Expenses

  • Fuel if there is an issue with the gas card
  • Transportation to another Zipcar if you are moved by us to a vehicle that isn't within walking distance
  • Maintenance if your vehicle runs out of washer fluid or has a flat tire
  • Car wash if your vehicle is particularly dirty

Keep in Mind

  • Requests must be submitted within 30 days of purchase
  • Photos must clearly show the date, time, and amount of purchase
  • Fuel receipts must show the final charge amount and not a pre-authorized amount
  • A copy of your bank statement can be submitted if you have lost the receipt
