Checking Your Application Status

While we are eager to get your membership started, there are a couple things that need to happen before you can begin booking Zipcars.

  1. First, we'll need to review your driving record which typically takes a day, but in some cases it may take a little longer. Once you're approved (or if we need further information) we'll reach out to you via email.
  2. Second, you'll also need to activate your Zipcard before you can reserve and drive. We'll mail you one shortly after you're approved. It takes up to 5-7 business days for the Zipcard to arrive USPS First Class mail.

If you are joining through a business, university, or affiliate the application process may take a little longer since you will also have to be approved by an administrator.
