What do I do if I can't return my Zipcar to its home location?

Be sure to always check the location details associated with your trip as it might have specific information about what to do when a garage is closed or the Zipcar spot is taken. You can find these details on the confirmation page of the website, on the booking page of the mobile app, as well as in your booking confirmation email.

If you're unable to return your booked Zipcar to its home location because the garage is closed or the spot is taken or blocked, please find the nearest available and legal space where the vehicle will not be towed.
