Extending Your Reservation

If you need to extend you can do so on iPhone® or Android™ mobile apps or via text alerts.

Mobile App

  • Open the Zipcar mobile app
  • View Current Trip and then select Time to extend
  • Click Confirm Changes to verify your extension is complete

Text Alerts

  • Sign up for text alerts here
  • A text is sent to you 30 minutes before your reservation ends to let you know vehicle is available for extension
  • Respond with a text and a confirmation text will be sent back to you

Note

If you are unable to extend, please return on time as someone may have the car booked after you.
