If you need to extend you can do so on iPhone® or Android™ mobile apps or via text alerts.
Mobile App
- Open the Zipcar mobile app
- View Current Trip and then select Time to extend
- Click Confirm Changes to verify your extension is complete
Text Alerts
- Sign up for text alerts here
- A text is sent to you 30 minutes before your reservation ends to let you know vehicle is available for extension
- Respond with a text and a confirmation text will be sent back to you
Note
If you are unable to extend, please return on time as someone may have the car booked after you.
