I'm Going to be Late and I Can't Extend

Returning on time is important to the car-sharing community.  If you try to extend your reservation with our mobile app or text alert features, but are not able to, it means that another member has the Zipcar right after you.  Please try to get back as quickly and safely as possible.

If you know you are going to be late, please give us a call.  We want to be service, and educate the next member on what other options may be available to them. 

To avoid running late, and potentially impacting another member, consider adding an additional 30 minutes to your future reservations for those unexpected delays such as traffic, delays in your errands or appointments.  Late returns start at $50 in the United States and $30 in Canada.
