Update your payment method

To update on the web

For standard and University membership plans in the United States

  • Sign into your account here.
  • On your account page, click Payment method.

  • Enter your new card information and click Update payment.

For Business membership plans, and all members in Canada

  • Sign into your account here.
  • Scroll down to my payment information.
  • Click edit next to your credit card.
  • Enter your new card information and click update.

To update on the mobile app

  • Sign into your Zipcar mobile app
  • Click on account at the bottom of the screen (iOS) or from the left-menu (Android)
  • Click on the credit card information currently on file.
  • Enter your new card information and click Update payment.

Note:

The accepted forms of payment in the US are either a credit card or debit card. In Canada, Zipcar accepts credit cards and only debit Visa cards. Please note that we do not accept prepaid cards.
