When updating your mobile phone on the My Account tab, you will be prompted to verify your account information via SMS or email.
You will receive a 6-digit code that will expire in 10 minutes. Once the verification is complete, keep an eye out for another 6 digit code via text to the new mobile phone.
You will need to enter this new code within 10 minutes. This will update the phone number and mark the number as verified and usable for 2-way communication.
You will receive an email notification of the updated mobile number. If you can't access your phone number on file, you will need to call Zipcar to verify your identity.
