When updating your email address on the My Account tab, you will be prompted to verify your identity via SMS and or the email on record. You will receive an email or text with a 6 digit code that will expire in 10 minutes.
Once you have verified the 6 digit code, an email will be sent to the new email address with a new 6 digit code that will expire in 10 minutes. Upon verification of the new email address, the new email address will update and be marked as verified. The previous email address will be notified of the change.
If you can't access your email on file, you will need to call Zipcar to perform an identity check or send proof of identity.
