When updating your email address under the My Account tab, you will be prompted to verify your identity via SMS or the email on record. You will receive an email or text with a 6 digit code that will expire in 10 minutes.
Once you have verified the 6 digit code, an email will be sent to the new email address with a new 6 digit code that will expire in 10 minutes. Upon verification, the email address on file will updated. The previous email address will be notified of the change.
If you can't access your email on file, you may need to call 866-4ZIPCAR to verify your identity.
