Update your email address

Update the email address associated with your Zipcar account on your account page.

For standard membership plans in the United States

  • Sign into your account here.
  • On Manage your account page under Your account click next to your email address.

  • Input the new email address. You will be prompted to verify your identity via SMS or the original email on record.

  • Once you have verified the SMS or original email address, a message will be sent to the new email address with a new verification code. Upon verification, the email address on file will be updated and a confirmation email will be sent to the original email address regarding the change.

 

For University membership plans, Business membership plans, and all members in Canada

  • Sign into your account here.
  • On my account page under my info click edit next to your email address.
  • Input the new email address. You will be prompted to verify your identity via SMS or the original email address on record.
  • Once you have verified the original email address, a message will be sent to the new email address with a new verification code. Upon verification, the email address on your account will be updated, and a confirmation email will be sent to the original email address regarding the change.
