Why can I not submit my Zipcar application?

If you are trying to submit your application and are encountering an error, please try the following troubleshooting tips:

  • Confirm the payment card being used is activated
  • Confirm there are sufficient funds available on the payment card
    Note: Some merchants may authorize an additional pending charge to the account 
  • If the payment method you are using has tried to be authorized 5 times or more in the course of adding your payment method, then your card may be blocked. Please reach out to your banking institution to confirm the card has not been blocked
