Returning Your Zipcar (Parking)

You need to return your Zipcar to its home location at the end of your reservation. If you're dropping off at a location that has more than one reserved Zipcar space, any of them will do.

If the Zipcar space is unavailable

If your Zipcar spot it taken or is blocked, please find the nearest available and legal space where the vehicle will not be towed. Then give us a call at 1-866-4ZIPCAR to let us know so we can help the next member who has the vehicle reserved.

What to look for: Several on-street spaces provided by the city have signs which say "Permitted Car Share Vehicles Only" or "No Parking (Reserved Car Share)."

How it's Different:These Zipcar locations are unique as the parking is not branded with Zipcar signage. 

Washington DC/Alexandria VA

What to look for: Several on-street spaces across the county are designated with signs which say "No Parking -Except Reserved Car-Share".
