What are Zipcar Reward Challenges?

Reward Challenges are limited-time offers that let you earn rewards by completing specific trips. Challenges are targeted, so not every member will see the same offers.

Who can participate?

Challenges are available to select members. If you’re eligible, you’ll see them in your account under the Challenges section in your Zipcar Rewards tab.

How do I complete a challenge?

Each challenge lists specific requirements, such as trip length, timing, or spend. To complete a challenge, your booking must meet all listed requirements and be completed before the challenge expires.

When will I receive my reward?

Once your qualifying trip is completed, the reward will be added to your account within 24 hours.

What happens if my challenge expires?

If a challenge expires before it’s completed, it can’t be redeemed or reactivated. Expired challenges will appear as inactive in your account.

Why didn’t my challenge show as completed?

This can happen if:

  • The trip hasn’t ended yet
  • The booking didn’t meet the exact challenge requirements
  • The challenge expired before the trip was completed

Can Zipcar manually complete or extend a challenge?

No. Challenges must be completed exactly as shown and can’t be manually adjusted or extended.
