Before you start driving, inspect your Zipcar inside and out. While we expect the previous member to leave the Zipcar in good standing for you, it is important to report any issues before you drive. Be sure to check for:
- Damage: Any vehicle damage, including dents or scratches larger than the size of a credit card.
- Fuel: You should have at least 1/4 tank of gas.
- Cleanliness: The car should be clean.
- Warning Lights
If you do find something amiss, you can report it to Zipcar using the mobile app. Just click report a problem on the current trip screen. You will be able to submit a photo and provide a brief description. If you believe the car is not safe to drive, please call 1-866-4ZIPCAR and we'll do our best to get you into a different car.
Please remember that Zipcar is a car sharing community and we rely on you, and all our members to keep the cars ready for the next person.
