Activating your Zipcard

To activate your Zipcard, head over to zipcar.com/activate and click on Activate Your Zipcard.  Once signed in to your account, be sure to click Activate Zipcard after entering the number so you can start reserving!

Note:  Zipcards cannot currently be activated using the Zipcar mobile app.

 

I haven't received my Zipcard

While we understand that you may be excited to get out and drive, Zipcards can take several days to arrive.   

If the address on your account is not up to date, login to your account, go to the my stuff tab, and click my account.  Once your address has been updated, fill out the form below to request a new Zipcard.

If it has been more than 7-days since your Zipcard was sent, fill out the form below and we’ll get a new card sent out to you.

Note: If you live in an apartment building, dorm room, or on college campus, provide your apartment/box number and make sure your name is on the mailbox in order to ensure delivery.

 

I lost my Zipcard

If you lose or damage your Zipcard, fill the form out below and verify the address we should send the replacement card to.

Once a Zipcard is requested, it will take a few days to arrive by mail. Until you receive and activate your new card, you won't be able to reserve Zipcars.  

We're happy to provide one free Zipcard each year. Additional replacement cards are $15 each and will be billed directly to your account.
