How do I change the damage protection coverage for drivers on my account?

As an admin of a family account, you can manage your damage protection coverage, as well as the coverage plans of any drivers on your account by following the below steps:

  1. Sign in to your Zipcar account
  2. Click on My Account at the top of the page and select Account Settings
  3. Select the People tab
  4. Click the overflow menu (3 vertical dots) next to the driver you would like to update
  5. Select Update protection
  6. Choose the damage protection coverage that you prefer and select Update protection

Repeat the above steps for each driver, including yourself, that you would like to update the damage protection coverage for.

Keep In Mind

Only admins of a family account can update damage protection coverage
